Really, that "us" is editorial. GoldSpike Audio is a small audio recording and editing studio operated, to be devastatingly frank, more or less solely by a couple of homeschooled/homeschool-graduate siblings.
If that makes you privately smirk (don't deny it, we know all about those private smirks) all we can say is, check out one of our recordings. For while we may be small in number, our creative ingenuity is boundless, and so is our passion for producing entertaining, educational audio musicals. Moreover, we are fortunate enough to come from a highly talented family of musicians, artists, writers and voice-over types which we can prevail upon when necessary. Mix those ingredients together and add a serious dollop of old-fashioned dedicated perspiration, and you get something admittedly unique, but glowing with the sparks of incipient genius.
Fanning those sparks into the full-blown flames of greatness is what we're all about. We don't think it's an impossible task. But, again to be devastatingly frank, we could use your help. (Sound the call to arms, drummer, if you please.) If you live around Southeast Michigan (or not, as the case may be) and you have musical or vocal talents, give us a shout. We've got exciting new projects in the works over here, and we'd love for you to get in on the fun.
Of course, you can always buy a CD. That helps, too.
